Our Adelaide Hills Chardonnay is 100% barrel fermented, lees stirred and matured in French oak hogsheads for 10 months. The nose offers lifted citrus and stone fruit aromas which harmonise with the beautifully integrated oak character. White nectarine, honey and butterscotch flavours are beautifully supported by a creamy mouthfeel and a balanced acid line. This is a seriously tasty example of what barrel fermented Adelaide Hills Chardonnay can offer and is the jewel in our Grounded Cru range of whites. We love to enjoy our Chardonnay with a tarragon and lemon roasted chicken off the charcoal with rosemary roasted kipfler potatoes and a fresh garden salad.
