Here is how we ranked with some judges notes:

2018 Inc Cabernet Sauvignon – 95 points
"I have long said how expressive cabernet from the Vale can be. Despite the heat the varietal postcode is undeniable: the maritime salinity, attractive. This is no exception. Svelte and compact, yet copious all at once. Sumptuous aromas of crushed blackcurrant, mint, clove, bay leaf, sage and olive. The tannins keep everything in check and running with a smooth precision. Depth, length, finesse and oomph. A very fine wine."

2018 Cru Grenache – 94 points
"Old-vine sources, 2 of which are bush vines and the oldest 85yo, dry grown on the old Ingoldby site. A gentle ruby hue, with orange zest, cherry bon-bon and molten strawberry aromas. Fibrous whole-bunch tannins, beautifully detailed, gently scrub the palate of any excess sweetness. This has a pinosity to it, with a thrust of extract and herbal freshness imparting balance and crunchy length. This address is marked by a consistent and indelible style of fine tannin management, complexity and an easygoing deliciousness."

2018 Inc Shiraz – 93 Points
"From a 70+yo plot within the original Ingoldby holdings. The oak, French (95%) and American. All up, 25% new. Mulberry and black cherry, with firm varietal genetics of nori, tapenade and pepper-doused acidity. A large-framed wine, albeit relatively light on its feet with ample freshness and finely tuned tannins – coffee bean and mocha-drenched. Pushes long on the force of extract alone."

2019 Cru Shiraz – 93 Points
"Open-top fermented for 8 days on skins, before a transfer to mostly French wood (10% new). This is delicious. Pulpy, bright, effusively aromatic and impeccably poised, from the floral aromas to the skittish tannic frame and skein of peppery acidity. I could drink this in large drafts, despite the heady alcohol."
Ned Goodwin MW - 04 January 2021

2018 Cru CSM – Cabernet Shiraz Malbec – 92 Points
"55/35/10% cabernet/shiraz/malbec, from older Vale vines. A sumptuous wine, but still riding a saddle of savouriness over the regional norm of sweet fruit (and too often, excessive oak). Cassis, hedgerow, sage and a smear of black olive. Some anise and violet, too. The tannins, finely wrought. Fresh, long and effortless."
Ned Goodwin MW - 04 January 2021

2019 Cru GSM – Grenache Shiraz Mourvèdre – 91 Points
"65/27/8% grenache/shiraz/mourvèdre. Grenache from 3 parcels of 70–85yo bush vines in McLaren Flat; 78yo shiraz from the Ingoldby vineyard; mourvèdre from Aldinga. A floral chord strikes up a melody of boysenberry, kirsch and lavender. Full weighted and pulpy, yet reductively firm enough to confer a welcome savouriness. The briary tannins are winning, curtailing any excess while galvanising the flavours and directing them long. Solid drinking."
Ned Goodwin MW - 13 August 2021

2020 Cru Pinot Gris – 91 Points
"Mt Torrens district fruit. Pear and tonic notes to begin, spritely and juicy, with balanced acidity and mineral/pithy mouthfeels to finish. Neatly crafted."
